American grassfed association
denver, co
Our certification standards apply to all farms and ranches approved by AGA for the production of ruminant animals and products. Only farms and ranches certified to AGA standards may use AGA’s logo, trademark, service mark and/or design mark. Our standards are verified by an independent, third-party, on-farm yearly audit .

AGA defines grassfed animals as those that have eaten nothing but grass and forage from weaning to harvest, have not been raised in confinement, and have never been fed antibiotics or growth hormones. In addition, all AGA-Certified Producers are American family farms and their livestock is born and raised in the U.S.

In addition to the certification program for grassfed ruminant producers, AGA communicates the value of grassfed products to consumers, chefs, and the media and serves as a resource for information. Through conferences, email and print publications, and other initiatives, AGA offers education to producers and others interested in grassfed meats. The association is headquartered in Denver, Colorado.  Grassfed producers, chefs and restaurateurs, distributors and processors,  health care professionals, members of the media, and consumers are all welcome to join.

gunnison, co
At Coldharbour Regenerative Network (CRN), it is our mission to advocate, train, implement, research, and facilitate Holistic Management and regenerative agriculture practices in Colorado to create enduring returns for the land and all who depend upon it. We aim to regenerate both people (individuals, relationships, and communities) and the land (water cycles, mineral cycles, ecosystem dynamics, and energy flow) through facilitating holistic management demonstration, education, and resources to Coloradans. By empowering people through multifaceted engagement and sharing of resources, together we make up a critical asset for social, ecological and economic regeneration.

colorado land link
salida, co
Colorado Land Link serves as a catalyst for convening conversations and resource development around the issues of land access and farm succession.  Through fostering meaningful and long-lasting connections, we strive to support the vision and goals of the next generation of farmers and ranchers together with those of current or retiring producers and landowners.

As part of these efforts, Colorado Land Link maintains a database to support potential matches between farmers and ranchers seeking land opportunities with landowners and retiring producers wanting to transitioning their land. We seek to find match opportunities that show strong potential and a shared agricultural vision between both parties.

In addition to this matching service, Land Link serves as a resource clearinghouse for educational and training opportunities, technical resources and networking for technical assistance and support.

colorado state forest service
fort collins, co
Every year, the Colorado State Forest Service helps treat thousands of acres of forestland, assisting landowners and communities to help improve forest health and ensure related benefits to help achieve stewardship of Colorado’s diverse forest environments.

The CSFS reaches thousands of Coloradans with timely, relevant forestry materials, education and information. This educational assistance is only one tool we use to provide for the stewardship of Colorado’s forest resources and reduce related risks to life, property and the environment. To truly meet the intent of our mission, the CSFS uses the best available science and a variety of tools to help determine where comprehensive forest management is most needed and beneficial, including the annual forest health aerial survey and forest health report, field observations, and collaboration with other land management agencies.
Colorado’s Forest Action Plan will help guide the CSFS and other forestry stakeholder as we work together to develop a landscape-level approach to leveraging limited resources where they will achieve the greatest benefit.

guidestone colorado
salida, co
Guidestone Colorado is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is growing a vibrant agricultural future through education, community building, and partnerships. Overarching goals include:
  1. Cultivate opportunities and experiences to increase agricultural awareness, connection, literacy (knowledge and skills development), and heritage preservation
  2. Build the capacity of new producers and local food systems
  3. Ensure organizational strength and sustainability

The organization’s strategies and programming are founded upon the belief that if individuals are exposed to experiences on local farms and ranches, that exposure results in a growing appreciation for where our food comes from and the commitment and resources needed to produce food locally. As a result of that appreciation, those individuals will then make choices that support and increase the capacity of the local food system. The result of these choices will be resilient local food systems, healthier communities, and a vibrant future for local agriculture.

western landowners alliance
santa fe, nm
The Western Landowners Alliance advances policies and practices that sustain working lands, connected landscapes, and native species.

We envision a future in which private and leased public lands in the West are resilient to stressors, healthy and biologically diverse, and provide for prosperous rural business and critical ecological services.

WLA recognizes that economic vitality and conservation go hand-in-hand. Given that private lands encompass the most productive and biologically diverse landscapes, including the majority of water resources, landowners have a pivotal role to play in shaping the future. WLA provides a collective voice, a peer network and a shared knowledge base for landowners striving to keep the land whole and healthy.
